so i was reading back omn my journal entries--

i found this entry from about a year ago...

i guess i chose option #1

1) Move to Memphis- this is the option that my parents are encouraging me to do in May. They tell me by the time I move there they will have connections that can get me a job or a route that would lead to graduate school. I have mixed feelings about this, on one hand I would not want to be over 12 hours from any family members, which is what would happen… but on the other hand if I moved to Memphis I would no one but my family. I don’t know how I would deal.. trying to make friends through the only connection I would have.. the church or I guess when I get a job in an office er something like that I could make professional friends.. wow that is a scary thought.. harrumph

i guess its working out?

i just booked my flight to michigan...

ANNNND there is light at the end of the tunnel!

life is going.

new job at a kids dentist-- although i hate both factors that go into that job. but it will do for now, i guess.

it is still hotter than a bitch here :(

my current thought to keep me going is sept 27 when i get to go up to michigan for albions homecomming! yay!

that is basically all my news, ... yeah and this coworker of mine ate a squirrel for lunch, no joke.

that is where i will be working, its not a GREAT paying job.. $12/hour, but i do get every friday off and holidays, so that is good :)

i am really nervous i start thursday dontcha know!

holy crap i cannot believe that i have a job.. WOO!

now i just have to go buy scrubs since thats what i wear @ work etc etc


hot damn i am excited.. although its kinda sad that after a 4 year college degree i am now a secretary/receptionist for a dentist office, but omg right now i dont care i am just so excited!!

i got a call from a job in chicago.. so i was happy... then i called back, sounds shady... so maybe not so good... 

harumph. 

oh well. 

in other news i rented all three season of arrested development and am currently watching them all, i <3 that show SO much, so thats good 

so yeah life is boring here, no changes at all, just the same routine everyday. 

blahhh get me outta here! 

on a brighter note in the mail today i got a letter from hill and a fannypack from danny (lol - just dont ask) 

yup. 

so back to the tv i go!

oh buddy i get to go get tennesee license plates AND my tennesee driver's license today.. i know its almost too exciting to read, so bare with me.

so its been a couple of days oh and about ZERO has happened.

i've officially updated my music collection-- culminating in adding the best song from senior year *drum roll* "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse. good lord that brings me back to drunkenly stumbling into bhill and jordans suite.. ah good times.

anyhow, other than that just calling loads of people to pass the time, i feel like my cell phone bill is going to be out of control this month.. opps.

oh well what can you do, nothing.

so its going to be 92 here today, but so far i am handling the heat pretty well dontcha know. so thats good.

other than that my life is uber boring right now, sorry kids!

so what have i been up to? well a whole lot of nothing spectacular...

watching movies, updating/adding to my music, printing off pictures

i think i found a summer job down here, receptionist at a doctor's office, i have to apply today but i mean i have 4 years exp. doing the same thing and the doctor is one of my dads parishoners... so i think it should work out.

my mom took me summer clothes shopping yesterday that was fun, i hadn't bought clothes in a while, so that was exciting.

today i have to:
-go get a car inspection, so i can get tennesee plates (woohoo?)
-send my resume to seabury western seminary (the place where i want to work in chicago)
-clean this room, my lord its messy already!!
-finish my spectular photo album

other than that life here is pretty depressing, although i am now in a 20's and 30's group ar church... so yeah lets hope the group is more towards the 20's side... worst case senario- i show up in club clothes pre-gamed as usual and opps we are actually having dinner at bennigans or something... yeah that would suck, although i always love a nice bennigans meal- but still!

i miss albion like woah. it just hit me today :(

i hATE memphis, love my parents, but everything else in memphis makes me sick to think that i could be stuck here

for some reason i cant check my email, another annoyance in my life. harumph.

i wonder what would happen if i just started driving and never stopped like one huge road trip... this is the shit that goes through my head when i am in isolation.

blech...

well back to doing nothing of importance.. do do do

goals for today
1. unpack so i can find anything
2. redeem my graduation gift and get a computer of my own (did i ever mention my laptop burnt out?, well it did)
3. apply to atleast 20 jobs
4. watch the america's next top model finale
5. call many people especially b.hill and tell him my parents ok'ed his visit here with his mom in just a few weeks!!!!!
6. get over the sickness that is slowly killing me
7. continue to get 10 hours of sleep a night.. for the first time in months i am not tired!!

that seems like enough for one day.. good lord i have so much time on my hands down here. meh.

so now that i am away from college.. i think i will be posting a lot more, lol

in other random news i just got signed up for a singles young adult group at my dads church.. dear lordy this should be exciting, lol. and i have a fever of 102 and have a head cold like none other... blech!

i haven't updated this thing in forever.

so what is new with the libby? nothing much, same old same old. horrible weeks brighened by fucking amazing weekends.

i love the mae and my friends, but fear the future like its death.

right now i am in the computer lab of the library running SPSS reports for my paper thats due tomorrow, yeah i am a smart one.. *hits head*

oh well.

so bak to the future thing, part of it is that in a month my parents are moving to memphis, TN. yeah it was a bombshell to me too. i guess it will be good for our famliy, i just worry like 1394899 times more than i should about everything.

so yeah that will be my life for the next couple of weeks going home to pack things up in my house, moving on out... exiciting, i know..

atleast i will be in albion where things never change just random bumps of drama then everything settles down again back to the same road it always is (almost)

oh wait until may.

but lets not think about that

crap i have wasted 10 minutes of my precious time writing this, back to paper-ing!

one more week of summer then school starts.. but i am actually more than ready to go back this year.. although i have not even thought of packing [opps] so i guess i better move those 30 blankets off out of my room and start packing up, lol.
